St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital

Renovation to existing cafeteria at the hospital. New electrical distribution system and lighting in coordination with kitchen equipment. Fire alarm system installed. Renovation to existing first floor radiology department including the wiring of two new CT scan machines. Fire alarm, nurse call system and lighting distribution systems were also installed. Renovation of second, third and seventh floor patient rooms. This seventy room renovation included lighting, nurse call systems, fire alarm system, branch wiring and head wall equipment wiring.

New clean energy construction management project of a 90,000 square foot college classroom facility with accompanying 190,000 square foot parking garage. Installation of six miles of fiber optic cable on two spans of bridge crossing the Hudson River. Expertise in house to handle fiber optic technical specifications of this contract.

Hudson River Visitor and Education Center

LEED rated platinum 4,000 square foot visitor and education center on the Hudson River. Project also included the renovation to an existing abandoned historical brick factory on Dennings Point. Installation of electrical distribution system, emergency power, energy efficient fluorescent lighting, integrated green technology with GEOthermal heating and cooling system including wind and solar panels. Installation of data and wireless systems for classroom and interactive education. Audio visual system complete with theatrical lighting and sound system for group events was also part of this project.

Electrical service for a material recovery building. Materials include newspapers, glass and plastic from recycling measures. In addition, installed electrical services for a co-compost facility. This facility processes waste from waste water treatment facilities and transforms the waste into reusable compost.

The Maintenance Facilities is structured to an environmentally friendly green technology into the design of the buildings to enhance energy efficiency. The Maintenance Facility includes four Buildings; cold Storage Building, Maintenance Building, two Salt Storage Buildings, and a Vehicle Storage building. A new State Police Barracks Building. The new toll facilities included a new toll utility building for administrative needs and Toll Operations, Entering and exiting toll plazas with high-speed E-ZPass and covered walkways between the plazas and the toll utility building.

Stewart International Airport – Runway Renovation

Removal and reinstallation of in pavement airport lighting in conjunction with milling and paving operation with special attention for elevation tolerances based on FAA specifications. Installation of in pavement temperature sensoring system which monitors for cold weather conditions for salting of runway. The airport runway remained fully operational while this project was underway.

Stewart International Airport

Operated as a general contractor to construct a lighting control vault building of approximately 1500 square feet. This building controlled all airfield lighting circuits for the airport. Upgraded airfield lighting infrastructure with 14 aircraft rated manholes, installing a mile of conduit duct bank and 40,000 feet of cable. Relocated light circuits to new control vault while airport remained operational.

Walmart had no security or data systems for its Grand Opening at its Newburgh location. Perreca responded tool and material with 45 men, within 8 hours to work a 24 hour schedule for 4 days to meet the opening schedule.

Matrix Distribution Center

This project included ground up construction of a 600,000 square foot temperature-controlled warehouse for regional distribution of pharmaceuticals. Based on LEED-like design, the building features LED Hi-Bay and Low-Bay lighting controlled by built-in occupancy sensors throughout the space. UPS and emergency back-up for sensitive conveyor systems were also included.

CPV: Valley Energy Center

This project included the new construction of a 680 megawatt natural gas-fueled combined-cycle electric generation facility. The facility’s environmentally-responsible design features highly efficient technology and state-of-the-art emissions controls, making it one of New York’s cleanest natural gas energy facilities once complete. During operations, the facility will produce enough electricity to power more than 650,000 homes, helping to meet the demand for local, reliable power in the lower Hudson Valley.
